It's the thought that counts

ZARA TOP · WRANGLER VINTAGE SHORTS (SELFMADE) · TOPSHOP CHELSEA BOOTS · LEVI'S BELT

The day I shot these portraits of myself I learned two things, 1 is that only one person is not enough to kill a spider & 2, using a tripod and self timer is actually a pretty stressful task. About thing no. 2: it has its advantages, of course, many of them. For example, you can make as many ridiculous poses as you wish because you know nobody is watching and therefore no one can make fun of you. You can also shoot in places an actual human being would probably not be able to get into. But as with basically everything in this world,  it also has its disadvantages. Like only having 12 seconds after pressing the shutter button of the camera to fall into a pose and after that realising that 10 photos out of 15 came out blurry and unfocused (I'm really sorry about that). I hope you enjoyed these no matter how they came out. You know what they say: it's the thought that counts.

  1. I quite like the fact that they're blurry, kinda adds to the simple, carefree vibe! The outfit is so simple, yet I'm lovin' it - nothing better than a white tee and denim cut offs for summer! //blog.moiminnie.com xx

  2. Thank you so much, I'm so glad you like the photos! And I agree, I pretty much live in denim cut offs and t-shirts during summer! X

  3. I can resonate with the self timer problems and luckily you never look bad in photos so blurriness isn't much of problem! I love the outfit it's simple but not in a yoga-pants-and-uggs (I doubt you'd wear this anyway) kind of way, more of a just-got-photographed-by-a-street-style-photographer way.
